It was my great pleasure to work on this project a little while ago with a Mrs. Alexandra Gonzales. She was looking for a cartoon of herself for her business and one for her new blog. She wanted to incorporate her three adorable daughters. What a fun family! She was a blast to work with-lots of happy energy and just excited about life in general.

Halloween 2008 Home Made Dinosaur Costumes

I just came across the photos of these costumes that Ryan and I made and thought they would be fun to post. We might try to make new ones (but different creatures) this year and if we do we will post a tutorial.

They are made with cardboard, colorful duct tape, toilet paper, and plastic knives for the teeth (they were not close enough to our faces to be a worry). The tails were detachable with velcro and we even had black breathable jersey fabric that could cover our faces with velcro from inside the mouth of the dinosaurs. We bought shirts in the colors of our dinosaurs and used the duct tape to adhere a strip of fabric of our secondary color onto our fronts.

That Halloween, people stopped us for pictures every few feet we walked, we also randomly popped into a coffee shop in these to say “hi” to a friend and won a costume contest that was going on, haha. RAWWWR!
