Comic Girl Painting
My cousin is a vintage doll <3 She makes clothing and has amazing taste in all things chic and retro. When she posted this photograph ,by Mike Ruiz
inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, on her Pinterest I was inspired to make it into a comic-style painting for her. Merry Christmas, cousin-pie!

I made a Triangle Loop scarf today.
First I was like…

But then I was like…

And now I’m like…

1.) for fabric measurements and sewing, see step 5
2.) I cut a “Magic Eraser Sponge” into a triangle shape. I chose the MES sponge b/c I thought it was thicker and would give me a better press.
3.) I chose my palette based on a painting I have been in love with for a few months now.
4.) I like to cover paper plates with tin foil. I began mixing my paints and kept a jar of H20 handy. Don’t be afraid if they run together-it will only blend your palette more with in-between colors. Dip the sponge into the jar and add more water for more “splashy” triangles, or less water for more uniform triangles. Sometimes if you turn the sponge over you and press, a different color will come out. You will get the feel for it after a few tries.
5.) After the paint has dried, watch this YouTube tutorial
